If you’re going to slap one of the best-known supercar brands on your notebook, you better have some serious computing horsepower growling underneath. Happily ASUS have given their VX5 Lamborghini notebook an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 processor and 1TB SSD, which should go some way to living up to that raging bull logo. According to BangBangTech, the VX5 should be landing in the UK come August.

The Lamborghini is a well known the most powerful car in the world. Let’s see why the notebook is named so.

The VX5 Lamborghini is powered by Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 processor and 1 TB SSD. It is good enough to win the race. But this is not all. Video engine works on NVIDIA GeForce GT130M. The virtual “fuel tank” is 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Also the notebook has 16-inch 1080p capable LCD display.

The Asus Lamborghini VX5 notebook also features a futuristic-looking design inspired by the Lamborghini Reventón; the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini road car to date.  The notebook has a black and gray color scheme, leather palm rests, chrome accents, a Lamborghini logo and a chiclet keyboard that lights up automatically under low light conditions.

With the VX5 Lamborghini you will feel yourself like in a car of your dreams. The price isn’t officially announced. ASUS expects its VX5 Lamborghini to hit the markets as well as the fastest car. Lastly, the notebook weighs in at 7.23-pounds (3.3 kg) with a 6-cell battery and has a whopping thickness of 1.89-inches (48 mm).  There is no word yet on price or availability, but expect this premium notebook to come at a steep price.
